2020 Hel’s Half Pound


Complete the course independently on your timetable. Participants will have between April 15 and September 1, 2020 to complete the HHP course. You can do it on your own, or preferably, with another family member(s) or friend(s). This way, in the event of a mishap, like a trip and fall, you’ll have rescue intervention in place. Just don’t trip each other up simultaneously.

To document your run we will require that you take, at least, a picture of yourself at the start – Wolf Creek parking lot, and at the turn-around point – the high point of the road at Hidden Lake. You’re welcome to use a running app like Strava or Map My Run, but it is not necessary documentation for race purposes. You must post your start and turn-around pictures to HHP’s FB page within five days of your completed run, along with any comments on your experience. We trust our HHP runners.

Additionally, you must also post your self-time to the HHP Facebook page along with your photos.  Your self-time consists of two separate times – your net assent time and your net descent time.  To establish your net times, subtract out any rest time you might have at the turn-around point.
